I have been teaching English in various countries and cities since 2002 and am now proud to be teaching you at Wall Street English in Beijing.
I first started teaching in Taiyuan in Shanxi province and have also taught in Shenyang, Dalian and Shanghai, as well as in the UK and in Japan. I enjoy the chances to meet different people that my job provides and find languages and linguistics interesting in themselves.Outside of work, I love music, reading, travel and sports such as running, cycling and skiing.

I’m from a small town in England called Lincoln, and studied Music in Manchester. After completing the CELTA qualification I moved to China in 2008; I have since after having met lots of Chinese friends who had told me how great it was here! They were right; I can’t stop eating so much Chinese food?and my students keep telling me I’m getting fatter and fatter! I can also play some music in Shanghai, I’m a drummer so I need to rock out every now and again. I’m coming up to two years with Wall Street and am having a great time. Some of my highlights at Wall Street have been the special projects we often run, like the Public Speaking Contest, special weekly English Corner projects, and of course the parties! I’m looking forward to lots more fun (and learning) as I continue teaching here. We’ve got a great team over at Metro City and a great set of students too. Come down and see us! Thanks everybody!
